Breast Lift

Breast Lift surgery, also known as Mastopexy, is a cosmetic procedure in which the surgeon removes excess skin from the breasts and repositions the breast tissue and fat to achieve harmonious proportions with the body.

This procedure is both safe and effective, allowing patients to lead normal and happier lives after surgery.

Breast sagging can result from several physical changes, including:

  1. Ageing
  2. Breastfeeding
  3. Gravity

A breast lift assists in maintaining breast shape and firmness, providing women with a more youthful appearance and restoring their self-confidence

If you meet the following criteria, you are an ideal candidate for Breast Lift surgery:

  1. A healthy woman with physical or psychological concerns regarding her sagging breasts.
  2. A woman with fully developed breasts.
  3. A woman with realistic expectations about the surgical outcome.
  4. A non-smoker, free from diabetes and cardiac issues.
  5. A woman who is neither currently breastfeeding nor pregnant.

In the week preceding the surgery, the doctor will request routine blood tests, and you may need to undergo a mammography to establish a baseline for future reference. You may also be asked to discontinue some of your regular medications to prevent conflicts with the surgery. If you are a smoker, you will need to quit smoking in the weeks leading up to the procedure.

After the surgery, you will be monitored for a few hours, and your vital signs will be observed during the recovery period.

Your plastic surgeon will provide instructions on how to care for your breasts during the recovery period, and you may be given a support bra for added assistance. Medications and ointments will be prescribed by the cosmetic surgeon to ensure your comfort and alleviate any pain following the surgery.

Immediate changes in the appearance and feel of your breasts will become noticeable after the surgery; they will appear higher, more youthful, and firmer.

Typically, recovery from a breast lift procedure takes about 2-3 weeks.

The cost of breast lift surgery is influenced by several factors, including:

  1. The specific procedure performed for breast lift surgery.
  2. Your unique case.
  3. The location of the clinic and the experience of the doctor.

As a result, it is not possible to provide a ballpark figure for this surgery. Your cosmetic surgeon will provide you with an actual cost estimate after your consultation.
