Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis, also referred to as “cool sculpting” or “fat freezing,” is an advanced procedure that entails the non-invasive and rapid cooling of body fat. This process leads to a reduction in body fat without causing harm to surrounding tissues.

Ideal candidates are relatively fit individuals who have small amounts of stubborn body fat in areas such as the lower abdomen, flanks, love handles, saddlebags, bra bulges, and back. These fat deposits cannot be easily reduced through diet or exercise.

The most commonly treated areas include the lower abdomen, flanks, love handles, saddlebags, bra bulges, back fat, and flabby knees. “Cryolipolysis” can also be used to reduce ‘male breasts’.

Cooling begins during the first few minutes, creating a sensation of pressure and intense cold that soon subsides. Many people read, work on their laptops, or even take a nap during their treatment. The vacuum applicator is placed in contact with the skin to bring it into contact with the cooling panels, producing a temporary anesthetic effect as patients feel a cold sensation for a few minutes.

Cryolipolysis treatment requires no recovery time, allowing patients to resume their normal routine activities on the same day. Multiple therapy sessions are often needed to see visible results, and the number of sessions varies from person to person depending on the thickness of the fat and the area being treated.

Changes in appearance can become noticeable over several weeks, with the estimated time to see the maximum result being around 12 weeks. Some clients have reported seeing changes in as little as 2 weeks. In clinical trials conducted 12 weeks after treatment, 9 out of 10 people observed a significant reduction in the treated area.

The procedure is non-invasive and quick, offering an effective alternative for individuals who wish to avoid the high cost, pain, and recovery time associated with surgery. There are no significant side effects of this treatment, and it does not require anesthesia or pain medication.
